Under Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Officer) Regulations, the following workplaces need to employ a WSH Officer:
Manufacturing: Any other factories in which 100 or more persons are employed, except those which are used for manufacturing garments.
Shipyards: Shipyards in which any ship, tanker and other vessels are constructed, reconstructed, repaired, refitted, finished or broken up.
Refineries / Petrochemical: Factories used for processing petroleum or petroleum products.
Construction: Factories in which building operations or works of engineering construction of a contract sum of $10 million or more are carried out.
Duties of workplace safety and health officer
(described in WSH (Workplace Safety And Health Officers) Regulations)
Our Workplace Safety & Health Officers (WSH officers) are registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and experienced in the manufacturing industries (metalworking, electronics, etc) and construction industry and well-versed in developing and maintaining ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 Management Systems.
We have helped our clients liase with authorities so as to be in compliance with the regulatory requirements
We provide full-time as well as part-time workplace safety and health officers (WSHO) to suit your needs and budget.
The owner or occupier of the following premises must appoint a fire safety manager:
(a) Public building
(b) any premises used for industrial purposes

We have qualified and experienced fire safety managers to assist you on fire safety matters in your building.
Exposure to high noise levels may lead to permanent hearing loss. To prevent this, it is highly recommended to conduct noise monitoring if you suspect that the noise levels in the factory are high. Also, under the Workplace Safety and Health (Noise) Regulations, when there are 10 or more persons employed or working in a workplace who may be exposed to excessive noise, the Management of the workplace has to ensure noise monitoring is carried out at least once every 3 years, or earlier if there are significant changes to its operations.
